On December 13, 2024, Lahore General Hospital’s Surgical Unit 2 hosted an enlightening and hands-on Laser Proctology Workshop, led by the esteemed Prof. Dr. Waris Farooka, Principal of Sargodha Medical College. The event gathered general surgeons from across Pakistan to explore the latest techniques in laser-assisted treatments for hemorrhoids and pilonidal sinus – two common yet challenging conditions in the field of proctology.
Throughout the workshop, participants were introduced to state-of-the-art laser technology designed to provide more efficient and less invasive treatment options for patients. The session was both informative and interactive, offering surgeons the opportunity to learn and practice advanced surgical techniques with the guidance of Prof. Dr. Farooka.
